Beam's Window Cleaning Inc ("we", "us") operates in British Columbia, Canada and handles personal information in accordance with the BC Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This policy explains what we collect through this website and in the course of our work, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Quote requests. When you request a quote, we collect your name, phone number, email address, service address, and details about the work you want done.
• Direct contact. If you call, text, or email us, we keep the contact details and correspondence you share.
• Technical data. Like nearly every website, our hosting and content-delivery providers automatically log technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, for security and delivery of the site.

How we use it

• To respond to your request, prepare your quote, and schedule and deliver services.
• To communicate about appointments, follow-ups, and our 48-hour streak-free guarantee.
• To keep business records we are required to keep (for example, invoices for tax purposes).
• We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send you marketing you haven't asked for. If we ever offer a mailing list, joining it will be a separate, optional choice.

Who we share it with

• Jobber (getjobber.com), the scheduling and client-management platform we run our business on. Quote requests submitted through this website go into our Jobber account. Jobber and its subprocessors may store and process data on servers outside Canada (including the United States), where it can be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. Jobber's handling is governed by its own privacy policy.
• Website infrastructure. Our hosting and content-delivery providers process technical logs (like IP addresses) to serve and protect the site, and may do so outside Canada.
• Legal requirements. We disclose information where the law requires or permits it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not disclose it except as described above.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising cookies and does not currently run analytics. Embedded services (the quote form) may set their own functional cookies, governed by their providers' policies. If we add analytics or call tracking later, we will update this policy first.

How long we keep it

We keep quote and client records as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal obligations. For example, records connected to invoices are kept for the retention periods tax law requires. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or render it anonymous.

Your choices

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to delete it. We will honour deletion requests except where the law requires us to keep the information (for example, tax records) or where it is still needed for a service you've asked for. Complaints

If you believe we have handled your personal information improperly, contact our Privacy Officer first and we will investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (oipc.bc.ca).

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with an updated date. Material changes to how we handle information already collected will only be made with the consent the law requires.
